Welcome to dmcremix.com
DMC is committed to finding new talent, and as such are running a series of competitions with the help from several leading labels, and from the UKs leading independent radio station, Galaxy FM.
The competitions run over 6 to 8 weeks, giving you the chance to remix the specified track using the parts kindly donated by the participating label. Once your production is ready, email it to us, and we will forward it to the label for judging. The top 3 will be posted here for the public to vote upon.
Fyro Music - Nayo 'Desert Storm' Remix Competition
We were literally inundated with entries for this remix comp; it seems to have been very popular with you all! The competition has now closed so please don't try to send any more tracks to us as they WILL NOT be accepted. We handed all the remixes over to our panel of judges at DMC and Fyro Music who chose their favourite three tracks and now the public vote for these 6 tracks has been counted and the results are in!!
Congratulations to Davide Loi who takes first place from the three Fyro Tracks that were voted on. Davide is an up and coming DJ / Producer from Italy and you can hear more of his excellent work at http://www.myspace.com/davideloi.
Congratulations also goes out to the House Soldier who topped the list of DMC's three choices. The House Soldier are Max Aversente and Max Fruzza, two italian eclectic djs that work and live in Tuscany (Italy). Check out their MySpace Pages below to listen to some more of their fantastic work.

Winner Update
Earlier in 2006 Andy Drage won the Maelstrom Remix Competition by remixing the Dogzilla classic 'Without You'.
Part of his prize package was a download release and Maelstrom have now announced the availability of Andy's remix, named Farce Remix, as part of a remix package available only from Beatport.

What do I get out of this?
Each participating label sets out the prize package, often consisting of subscriptions to mailing lists, time in the studio with the artists, tickets to gigs around the UK or an actual release for your track.
How do I get involved?
If you are a dj/producer and fancy having a go at remixing a track, check out the competitions currently running, and get creative!
